The Answers You Need
What is so special about Alpaca clothing?
The selection of alpaca clothing is a common choice over other fibers because it’s softer than cashmere, warmer than sheep, stronger than mohair, comfortably lightweight, less itchy, has less wrinkling; not to mention it’s lanolin-free. Likewise, the production of alpaca fleece has a lower environmental impact and a fair price. Did we mention that our products are 100% Alpaca? This means we don't blend with any other natural or synthetic fiber.
Can I change my mind and return or exchange a product?
Sure! Your 100% satisfaction is guaranteed on any product you buy from us. So if you changed your mind Andes Alpaca® will gladly accept unworn, unwashed, or defective merchandise sold in the U.S. and Canada. But the items MUST be returned within 14 days of delivery. With the exception of course! of orders placed in December. We understand those are your holiday's presents so they are eligible for returns through December 30.
How do I have to wash my Andes Alpaca® garments?
Alpaca fibers are naturally stained, odor and wrinkle-resistant, so alpaca garments can go extended periods between cleanings. But when it’s finally time for a cleaning or when you end up accidentally wearing your food, you should wash by hand with cold water and let it dry flat on a towel. This is the best method for cleaning Alpaca knitwear. It adds years to the life of your garment. But if you are busy or you are not patience to hand wash our clothes, we recommend you to find an eco-friendly dry cleaner near you.
When winter is over, How should I store my Andes Alpaca® garments?
Never place Alpaca knitwear on a hanger; the garment can stretch out of shape. The best way to put away your garment is to lay it flat on a shelf or in a drawer. Make sure they are clean and dry before you put them away.
